A friend and I spent a week camping in the Allegheny mountains, while all that smoke from all those wildfires up north rolled down across the eastern seaboard. A bear trundled into camp for some coffee 2 days in, and I hear there was a much- needed indictment going down in Florida. But mostly we just sat by water and watched the ever- changing Pennsylvania sky.
